You start out in life with things looking good. Then bad things begin to happen. You have no control over these things. With sexual abuse for a small child, you only feel confused. Perhaps the abuser is an adult which makes it more confusing. Somehow inside you know it is not right, but you are powerless to know how to deal with it. Since it is an adult who is responsible, you don't feel like you can go to another adult.  The boys threatened me within an inch of my life if I told on them!
